हम जुआरी हैं
एक भिन्न पृथिवि के मोनालिसा !
खुद को भूलने बैठे
रसाप्लुत साश्रुल बन...
आँखें खूले
तो समझे तभी सवेरा हुआ
जो अच्छा लगे
वही तत्त्व दर्शन...
हम हैं शाल्मलीस्थित बृद्ध जरद्गव
और हम ही हैं
चतुर दीर्घकर्ण..
शायद भूल नहीं होगी
अगर हम कहें
पूर्ण कभी नहीं था
पूर्ण से जरूर होता
जठर जाल निर्वापन..
हमारे लिए जो कुछ बचा है
वह है बना बनाया आंसू
और प्रचारधर्मी भाईचारे की
अधम उदहारण...

We are gamblers Monalisa
Of a different ecosystem
We forget ourselves
Being emotionally charged...
When eyes open
We treat it as dawn
Whatever we like
We take it as the truth...
We are the old Jaradgava vulture on the Great Ceiba tree
And we are the clever cat Dirghakarna..
Probably, we will not be that wrong
If we say
Never was it full
Because
Had it been full
Our hunger would have ceased since long ..
What's left for us is
False tears
