କଥା ଆହୁରି ବହୁତ ଅଛି...
ମୋ ଗାଁ
ଯୋଉଠି ହସୁଥିଲା
ଦାନ୍ତ ଦେଖେଇ
ହସି ହସି ଆକେତା ମକେତା ହଉଥିଲା
କୁଣ୍ଢେଇ ପକେଇ
ଆଜି ଓଠ ଲମ୍ବୋଉଛି
ନାଆଁକୁ ମାତ୍ର
ଦଳୀୟ ରାଜନୀତି ରେ ପଶି
କାଦୁଅ ସାଲୁବାଲୁ
ସେ ବୁଢା ବୁଢା ଆଉ ନାହାନ୍ତି
ଯାହା ପାଖକୁ ଗଲେ
ସବୁ ଆପେ ଆପେ ଫଇସଲା ହଉଥିଲା
ଏବେ କଚିରି କାରବାର ବେଶୀ
ଟୋକା ଟୋକାଏ ଏବେ
ଓକିଲାତି କରୁଛନ୍ତି
ପଖାଳ ଖାଇ ଚାଷ ନୁହଁ
ତାଶ ବାଡ଼ଉଚନ୍ତି
ଦି ଟଙ୍କିଆ ଚାଉଳ
ପାଞ୍ଚ ଟଙ୍କାରେ ମିଲ
ସାଇ ମୁଣ୍ଡରେ ପାଉଚ
ଭେଣ୍ଡିଆଏ ଏବେ ହେଣ୍ଡି ମାରୁଛନ୍ତି
ନାଇଁ ବଇଠକି ନାଇଁ ସମିତି
ମନ୍ଦିର ଭଗତ ଘର ଖାଲି ପଡିଛି
ନାଇଁ ହରିବଂଶ ନଇଁ ଆଳତି
କଥା ଯିବ କୁଆଡେ
ଆହୁରି ଅଛି...

ଗାଈ ଗୋଠ ଆଉ ନାଇଁ
ନାଇଁ ଆଉ ଗଉଡ଼ ଟୋକାର ଡାକ
ଲମ୍ବା କେନ୍ଦୁ ପାଞ୍ଚଣ ପେଇଁ ଆଉ ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ନାଇଁ
ଟଣ ଟଣ ଆଉ ଟପା ଶୁଭୁନି
ପଡିଆ ନଇଁ କି ଟାଙ୍ଗି ଟୋକର ନାଇଁ
ସାଇ ରାସ୍ତା ସବୁ ସିମିଟି ହେଲାଣି
ଶଗଡ଼ ନଇଁ କି ନଙ୍ଗଳ ନାଇଁ
ପିଲେ ପିନ୍ଧୁଛନ୍ତି ବେଗି ପେଏଣ୍ଟ
କଛା ମାରିବାକୁ କସ୍ତା ନାଇଁ
ମାଙ୍କଡ ଡରରେ ମରିଚ ଗଛ ବି ନାଇଁ
ଘର ଚଟିଆଙ୍କ ବଉଁଶ ବୁଡିଛି
ଇନ୍ଦିରା ଆବାସ ରେ ଚାଳ ହିଁ ନାଇଁ..
ଗାଆଁ ମୋ ଚାଲିଛି ନାଇଁ ରେ ନାଇଁ...
କଥା ତ ଅଛି...

THERE IS A LOT MORE TO SPEAK

There are a lot of things to tell.
Once my village was laughing full heart
Embracing with open arms
Is now simply smiling for name sake.
Sprinkled with mud the whole is
In political entanglement
Won't find any wise white head
Who settled all heartache
Only red walled court prevails
Young folks are legal wizards
Agriculture no longer thrives on watered rice
Playing cards rule the roost
Rice available in two rupees
Meals in five
Pouches rain at the street end
Youth is misguided
Won't find club meetings
Temple and worship hall are empty
No sacred reading no worship
You have a lot to listen
And a lot to speak..

Herds of cattle no more seen
No call of the cow boy
Jungle is already lost for a long stick of Kendu..
No Tappa sound heard
No trace of grazing ground
No sign of dry land
Street roads are cemented
Bullock carts and ploughs have all vanished
Children wear baggie pants
Long cloths not used now
Chilly plants are lost in monkey menace
Sparrows have gone extinct
IAY has replaced thatched houses
The village life is full with nothing and nothing.
