ସପନରେ ଦେଖିଥିଲି ଖାଲି ଯାହା
ନିଶବଦ ରାତି ଆଉ ରହିଲାନି
ଜୀବନ କବାଟ ଫାଙ୍କେ ଦେଖିଲିନି
ନୁପୁର ନିକ୍ୱଣିତ
ପଦପାତେ ସୁନ୍ଦରୀ ଗୋ
ଆସିବାକୁ କହିଥିଲ ଆସିଲନି...


ଚଇତି ବହିଲା ମନ୍ଦେ
କୋଇଲି ଗାଇଲା ଛନ୍ଦେ
ଆମ୍ର କାନନେ ହେଲା
ସ୍ୱୟଂବର ବକୁଳ ବିଥି ର
ଦଶଦିଗେ ବିଞ୍ଚିଗଲା ଅରୁଣିମା
ସ୍ନେହବୋଳା ଅଲିଭା ଅବିର
ମଧୁମକ୍ଷୀ କଲେ ବୃନ୍ଦଗାନ
ଆମନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ବିଧୁରିତ ଶୁଭସଙ୍ଗୀତର
ଅପଲକ ନୟନ ଚାହିଁଲି ଗୋ
ନବନିତ ନିତମ୍ବିନୀ ଆସିଲନି ..
ଦେଖିଥିଲି ସପନରେ ଖାଲି ଯାହା
ଜୀବନଯମୁନା କୂଳେ ଦେଖିଲିନି...

I had seen you in dream only
But I missed the soundless night

Honey bees sang in chorus
The music of invitation

Never turned up O beauty with heavy buttocks
I had seen you only in dreams
Never saw you on the banks of
Yamuna of my life..
