अपना कहने को दिया गहरी शून्यता
प्रियतम से मिलने दिया चैन...
तेरी सरजना निहारने
मुझे उजाला चाहिए थी
रोशनी की जगह दी रैन...
प्रेम का गागर दिया..
ग़मों का सागर भी दिया...
करुणा के भरमार में तेरे
अगर दो बूंद आँसू मिलाया
तो क्या गुनाह किया ?
दर्द के पारावार में
तुम्ही ने धकेला है प्रभु
बर्वादी की दहकते प्याले से
अगर दो घूंट निगल भी लिया
तो कैसा गुनाह किया ?

Deep emptiness you gave
In the name of nearness
Patience awarded
To meet the dearest...
I wanted light
To behold your creation
Night replaced the Sun...
You gave the container of love
The ocean of sorrows is also given ...
What crime committ did I
O Lord
If a couple of tears are mixed
In the prospority of your
Deep compassion ?
You have pushed me to the Ocean of pain,
If I swallowed two sips
From the cup of burming destruction,
What sin I committed O Lord ?
