हाँ, मैं औरत हूँ,
औरत होने का गर्व है मुझे
दुनिया बनाती हूँ और इसीलिये गर्बीत भी हूँ....

सुन्दरता का मिसाल हूँ मैं
बनाया है उपरवाले ने
धरती का दुसरा नाम दे के
कन्धों पर समाज को
ढोहने का बिडा उठाती हूँ..
बनाती हूँ और पालना बनती हूँ..
मेरे ही आँखों के सामने जब
मेरे ही सृष्टि मुझे कूडा समझते हैं
तो दुर्गा बनती हूँ...
विद्या देती हूँ तो
बीच चौराहे पर निर्बस्त्र भी होती हूँ..
लक्ष्मी हूँ
मेरे लिए बच्चों से मेरे
वृद्धाश्रम बनवाती हूँ...
हाँ, मैं औरत हूँ,
औरत होने का गर्व है मुझे
दुनिया बनाती हूँ और इसीलिये गर्बीत भी हूँ....

Yes, I am the woman.
I am proud of being that
I am making the world and I feel pride for it..

I am an example of what beauty is
The Almighty has created me with the other name of the earth..
I take it my duty to shoulder the society..
I created and became the crèche too..
I turn Durham
When my own creation treat me as dust
Before my eyes..
When I give wisdom
I have to be naked on the public square..
I am Goddess Laxmi..
For this only I make my children build old age shelter...
Yes, I am the woman.
